   The Descanso Town Hall is managed by the Descanso Town Hall Association (DTHA), a 501 (c) (3) non-profit volunteer organization. DTHA members elect the following officers to serve on a board of directors: President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary. The board appoints various coordinators to manage various projects, and meets monthly to manage the following responsibilities:

• Make all decisions regarding maintenance and use of the Town Hall property
• Manage and provide for audit of financial records
• Provide facilities for community meetings and social events
• Provide free facilities for meetings of other non-profit or local government organizations
• Obtain donations or fees to pay for all town hall expenses
• Manage community activities such as the Independence Day Parade and Fair
• Manage the Luke Barbour scholarship fund and select two graduating seniors each year to receive the scholarships

We rely solely on volunteers and donations.  Please send your donations to the town hall using the membership form or the address on our Contact Us page.   All donations are tax deductible.
